What goes into making Arcane Candles?
Prepare & Calculate
Making sure weights and temperatures are accurate is an important step in the process of candle making.
I use digital scales to precisely measure wax, fragrance oils and finished product.
I use laser thermometers to make sure fragrance oil is added at the correct temperature for perfect wax binding.
Melt & Pour
Using a larger scale wax warmer, I am able to melt down more wax at a time rather than a little on a kitchen stove. This helps me pour multiple candles at once to keep up with supply and demand.
If something goes out of stock, rest assured I am working as hard and fast as I can to get the items replenished.
Curing
”Cure” time is one key step to ensuring a wonderfully strong scent to your candle. You want to allow ample time for your wax and your fragrance to bind together. At the minimum, there is about a 2-week cure time with our candles.
Every Arcane candle and wax melt is hand poured and left to cure the appropriate amount of time to ensure you get great smelling candles every single time.
Final Inspection
I went through months of rigorous testing to ensure each candle I hand pour is as precise as possible.
Every candle is final inspected to make sure it is up to my standards before arriving at your doorstep.
